Over the past few weeks athletes from Tri County Special Recreation Association Wolves athletes have competed in three Special Olympics tournaments. On April 16th the team traveled to Dyer Indiana and competed in Bocce at Dyer Indoor Soccer Fields. The day started with Traditional Singles competition. Trent Evans from Crest Hill placed 3rd while James Gottlick of Bolingbrook placed 1st in their respective divisions. Evans and Gottlick paired up and played Traditional Doubles and placed 3rd. In the afternoon the Unified Doubles of David DeGuilio of Lemont and unified partner Kait Mayszak placed 4th. Lynn Kosinski of Lockport and unified partner Brad Evans also placed 4th. Meghan Wells of Crest Hill and unified partner Joan Lilek placed 2nd. Scott Wells and unified partner Larry Davis placed 3rd. The Unified Team competition for the Wolves was extremely successful. The Unified Team of DeGuilio, S. Wells, Davis and Mayszak and Kosinski, M. Wells, Evans and Lilek both placed 1st in their respective divisions.
